Carpentry Training Opportunity

TLC, Work-Based Training is pleased to announce that we will be accepting applicants, for carpentry training, beginning September 19th through October 12th. This is a part-time non-paid program dedicated to providing a well-rounded training experience and an opportunity for a lifelong career. TLC Work-Based Training Program, Inc. will provide instructor-led classroom instruction and hands-on on-the-job training in building and construction trades, which includes but is not limited to: Painting, Drywall, Framing, Foundation, Roofs, Hardware, Flooring, and Blueprint Reading.   After The HUB groundbreaking a few months prior, everyone in the local community eagerly awaited the coming of this new facility. On August 21, 2018, the ribbon was cut on The Harrisburg Uptown Building (HUB) and the doors were officially opened. Tarik Casteel started TLC Construction in 2008 after serving four years in prison.
